In accordance with Art. 2 Para. 6 BayHSchG, Art. 4 Para. 1 Sentences 1 and 2 BayEGovG, the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt provides services and administrative functions as well as information for the public about its activities on its websites.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

• If your personal data is processed, you have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR). Please note that this right to information may be restricted or excluded in certain cases. To exercise your right to information, please contact: datenschutz@thi.de
• If incorrect personal data is processed, you have the right to have this data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR).
• If the legal requirements are met, you may request the deletion or restriction of processing (Art. 17 and 18 GDPR).

Right to Object

For reasons arising from your particular situation, you may object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you by us (Art. 21 GDPR). If the legal requirements are met, we will subsequently no longer process your personal data.

Right to Withdraw

You may withdraw consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR). The lawfulness of data processing carried out on the basis of consent until withdrawal is not affected thereby.

Operation of the Web Server

When you contact our web servers (for example, via app or browser), we automatically collect the following access data:

• the page from which the file was requested
• the name of the requested file
• the date and time of the request
• the amount of data transferred
• the access status
• the description of the web browser type or operating system used
• the IP address of the requesting computer.

Purpose and Legal Basis

We process the data in particular to ensure smooth use and maintenance of our platform, as well as to guarantee network and information security. Information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us to optimize our platform and the underlying technology.

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. e GDPR in conjunction with Art. 6 Para. 3 GDPR, Art. 6 Para. 1 BayDSG for the operation of our platform.

1. Recipients

THI only shares your data on a legally permissible basis or with your consent. Beyond this, no data is shared.

2. Storage Duration

Your data will be deleted no later than 90 days.

3. Provision Required or Mandatory

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is not legally or contractually required. However, without this data, the functionality of our platform is not guaranteed. For this reason, objection is excluded.
