In early April 2019, the Artificial Intelligence Network Ingolstadt gGmbH (AININ) was founded at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. With AININ, partners from science, business, and society have joined forces to coordinate, promote, and conduct applied research and basic research in the field of information technology, with a focus on the topics of artificial intelligence and machine learning, including the free dissemination of the resulting knowledge to interested companies, research institutions, and individuals.
AININ addresses research questions on the use of AI in four areas: retail, health, production, and mobility. The various perspectives from science, business, and society that come together in this context are intended to promote creative and interdisciplinary approaches and enable AI solutions from one subject area to be quickly transferred to other areas.
