Reliable and secure supply of regional hospitals with medications using automated UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems / drone systems) including the provision of real-time availability data.
The goal is the rapid supply of medications to primary care hospitals from the central pharmacy stocks of a major hospital using automated UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems / drone systems). In the future, these systems will not only conduct air transport between hospitals, but also transport to accident/disaster areas. In addition, images and other data from the disaster area captured during the transport flight will be provided to emergency response teams for situation assessment. In the project, the UAS will be equipped with a detachable, intelligent transport box. The box features intelligent electronics that enable, among other things, tamper-proof electronic transport documentation. The transport box is climate-controlled and must comply with legal requirements for the transport of medications, which also entails specific temperature and hygiene requirements.
We are elevating the supply mobility of the future into the third dimension.
